The Saltwater Reel Big Fish program recognizes anglers for extraordinarily-sized catches of the 30 different saltwater species.

This one might look like a mut with it's dark blotch just above the lateral line and blue stripe under the eye, but don't make any snap decisions until you look at the pointed anal fin (where part of it's scientific name comes from). These fish can get up to 30 inches and 25 pounds, larger adults tend to be solitary and found on offshore reefs or rocks while juveniles are found inshore in protected areas with sandy or grass bottoms.
